I am proud to say I am a Hampton Roads native! I grew up in Norfolk and moved to Virginia Beach as a young adult. My husband and I have been married for over 25 years and we have two children who are college students. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, volunteering and staying active in my church.
My dental career started shortly after high school and completing my dental assistant training. After working as a dental assistant for a year or so, I found my calling in dental administration. I am approaching 30 years in the dental field, primarily in Insurance and Finance.
As Office Manager, I am here to help our patients with any questions or concerns they might have with their account, insurance benefits or dental treatment. In addition, I am here to provide support, in any way I can, to our talented dental team.
The best part of my day is working closely with people!
Lorrie – Registered Dental Hygienist
I joined the Centre for Dental Excellence in April 2015. I am a Virginia native and graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1999. Since graduation from dental hygiene school, I strive to keep up with the latest techniques and tools to provide the best dental care for my patients. I attend numerous continuing education courses, which include courses from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies to stay current in my field. I am also trained in the administration of local anesthetic and Nitrous Oxide Analgesia. My commitment to continuing education brings modern dental hygiene therapies to our practice. These therapies include periodontal health and maintenance as it relates to heart disease, coronary artery disease and caries risk and treatment. I place strong emphasis on prevention when speaking with my patients about their oral health.
I am married and have two sons, JT and Evan. In my spare time, I enjoy running, indoor cycling, and Cross Fit workouts. However, most of all, I enjoy being a mom and having fun with my kids!
Carrie – Registered Dental Hygienist
I graduated from Northern Virginia Community College in 1995 with an Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene. My husband and I moved from Northern Virginia to Chesapeake in 2000; where we are raising our daughter, Amber. In my spare time I enjoy going to the beach, traveling and scrap-booking.
I came to the Centre for Dental Excellence in 2008 and I am happy to be a part of a great dental team.
Debbie – Patient Care Coordinator
I joined the team 2015. I began my dental career as a chairside assistant and obtained my Registered Dental Assistant Certification in California. I enjoyed working chairside for 9 years then was able to transition into dental administration during my first pregnancy. A military transfer brought me to Virginia Beach where I was obtained my Certification for Virginia and worked clinical and administrative as needed.
My experience working hands on with the Dr. chairside helps to provide more detailed information to patients about their treatment. I enjoy helping each of our patients to feel more comfortable with their dental care with us, whether it is with dental anxiety, planning their needs, or financing. It is my goal to help each patient on a personal level to help them achieve their dental goals.
